Studies using single nutrients to improve health have generally yielded mixed results. A better approach is to look at nutrient profiles; each Nutrition Score is made up of a group of nutrients that work together to contribute to your health.<\/p><p>This gives you the bigger picture view of how your diet is meeting your nutrition goals, while you can still get into the details for each micronutrient target in your <a href=\"https:\/\/cronometer.zendesk.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360018069532\" target=\"_self\">Nutrient Targets Summary<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f48025f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f48025f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What Are Cronometer's Nutrition Scores?<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7354a9 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7354a9\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Nutrition Scores are calculated from how much of each nutrient target and\u00a0nutrient ratio\u00a0in the category you have achieved, based on the data available in the foods you have logged to your diary. Reaching your daily target for a nutrient maximizes your Nutrition Score, while exceeding your maximum target will reduce your score in that category.<\/p><p>Keep in mind, the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.cronometer.com\/hc\/en-us\/articles\/360038286012-Mobile-Dietary-Reference-Intakes-DRIs#:~:text=The%20DRIs%20define%20how%20much,to%20your%20Complete%20Nutrient%20Summary\">Dietary Reference Intakes<\/a>\u00a0apply to the healthy general population and are not meant to apply to those who are deficient or in conditions that may cause an increased requirement. If you have\u00a0customized your nutrient targets\u00a0to meet your needs, your Nutrition Scores will be calculated from the targets you have chosen.<\/p><p>We now have fifteen Nutrition Scores, including immune support, metabolism support, electrolytes, antioxidants, all targets, vitamins, minerals, blood health, bone health, oral health, women&#8217;s health, men&#8217;s health, data quality, ketogenic and plant-based. You can select up to eight Nutrition Scores to view on your Diary page.
