In addition to releasing a <a href=\"https:\/\/cronometer.com\/blog\/introducing-mens-health-nutrition-score\/\">men&#8217;s health Nutrition Score<\/a> to all free users for the month, we&#8217;ll be uncovering some key nutrition considerations for males to keep in mind.<\/p><p>For this blog in particular, we&#8217;ll be talking all about protein, a macronutrient that many men prioritize over any other macro or micronutrient.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2209d64 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"2209d64\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">The Function Of Protein<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b7d6a7d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b7d6a7d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Protein is made from 20+ basic building blocks called amino acids and\u00a0provide structure for your body in muscle, skin and collagen. Protein is found throughout the body\u2014in muscle, bone, skin, hair, and virtually every other body part or tissue. It makes up the enzymes that power many chemical reactions and the hemoglobin that carries oxygen in your blood. At least 10,000 different proteins make you what you are and keep you that way. (1)<\/p><p>Studies show that eating healthy sources of protein can lower the risk of several diseases and premature death (1).\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c733add elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c733add\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Protein &amp; Your Diet<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-61df17d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"61df17d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>You need enough total protein in your diet to replace proteins that breakdown each day. You also need to get essential amino acids in balance throughout the day to build those proteins.
