I don’t believe in any one particular diet direction as everyone is different and needs specialized attention. Based on experience a whole foods diet with sufficient fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, and clean water can really increase energy, metabolism, and vitality. Emotional health and stress reduction also need attention. There is no quick fix to health. A commitment to a lifestyle improvement and change is necessary. However, clients typically notice an increase in energy shortly after changes are made.
Once one gets the “hang of” shopping for and preparing fresh foods, tastes will change. The sugary, highly processed foods will not taste as good as fresh foods and the body and mind will start to feel better and work on healing.
Getting healthy is primary and your body will move toward the right weight when healthy and thriving. I will teach you how to nourish your body and mind. I focus on a plant strong sensible eating plan that will fire up your metabolism and provide vitality. I do not recommend drastic calorie reduction but instead focus on whole foods and a proper macro-nutrient balance specific to your body type.
Feel free to call for a complimentary diet and lifestyle evaluation. My coaching style includes weekly phone check-ins and frequent e-mails with educational materials, healthy eating plans and recipe ideas.
