Debra Stefan is a fitness speaker, group fitness instructor, personal trainer, jump rope coach, nationally acclaimed bicycle educator, master yoga teacher, and world-class elite powerlifter with over 40 years as a fitness professional. Once a full-time yoga ashram instructor, then a professional chorus dancer, her specialties span from jump rope to biking and powerlifting.
Fun fact: In 1981, she broke the World Guinness Record for 10 hours of continuous rope jumping as a Muscular Dystrophy fundraiser. Marketing her jump rope classes meant making newspaper headlines.
She is a certified League Cycling Instructor and 2020 Educator of the Year, and 2021 Women’s Master Powerlifting World record holder. In 2023, she set new AAU records in Women’s Powerlifting and Kettlebell Sport Lifting. Most recently, she earned the highly coveted award of Best Overall Female Powerlifter.
