Matthew KuKanich started his fitness journey during his sophomore year of high school. He quickly gained interest in lifting weights and especially the science behind it. He realized how much he enjoyed showing friends and family how to exercise and the joy that explaining the mechanics of each exercise brought him. He was determined to pursue a career in Fitness Training shortly after. He started with exercise science and nutrition courses at Geroge Mason University, followed by the certification process. Matthew completed his personal training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine. He also underwent nutrition science and coaching education through Precision Nutrition. Matthew is currently a NASM CPT, and CPR/AED/First Aid certified trainer. Fitness and Fitness education is his passion, so he is ecstatic whenever he receives a new client and a new opportunity to change someone's life.
