I love science and I love nutrition and I love the science of nutrition! I also enjoy helping athletes achieve their goals in the most productive and least stressful way possible. My style is to a collaborative coach approach. The athlete is in charge, while I help them solve problems and overcome obstacles. Education is always available; I love questions! I work with endurance, martial arts, team sport and performing arts athletes of all ages, including minors - if there's a parent involved. I have a private sports nutrition consulting practice, Nutrition HeartBeat, in the western suburbs of Chicago, where I work with triathlon teams, travel teams, local universities and individual athletes of all sports. Just don't ask about those alpine winter sports. It's flat around here!
