Hello, my name is Daniel Parker. I am 48 years old and have been vegan for 6.5 years. I originally went vegan when I was diagnosed pre-hypertensive. I chose not to take any medications and instead watched Forks Over Knives. I immediately changed my diet and lifestyle and never looked back. I feel better than I ever have. I have more energy and can recover faster after a good Crossfit workout. I am currently a Crossfit Level 1 trainer at Crossfit Deprivation. I have been doing crossfit for 4 years and coaching for almost 2 years. I have competed in multiple Crossfit competitions to include individual and teams. I placed third in an individual masters event in New Orleans and placed second in a Super Team competition in Atlanta. I have graduated from E. Colin Campbell’s Plant-Based Nutrition Course. I enjoy helping people become healthy and physically fit to operate in everyday functions. I am a strong believer that a whole food plant based diet is the best diet for athletes to perform at their best. I also believe a whole food plant based diet can be a tremendous benefit and can lead to a better quality of life. I work with people of all ages and try to improve their quality of health a little more everyday.
