I have always been interested in food. Taste. Texture. Science. It’s happiness quotient. And more recently, food’s nutrition quotient: the place where food, body and mind intersect is of great fascination to me. Food has great power to nourish…but can sometimes also become the cause of ill health. The very pathways through which food can lead to dis-ease are the pathways one can reverse – through optimal food choices – to achieve a state of vibrant health. This is where I come in.
I work with clients who struggle with metabolic disorders like weight management issues, Prediabetes, gut problems, and PCOS.
Functional nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all science or art – people are different, not just by genetics or current health and goals, but also by how and what they like to eat. Food is hugely personal, and the only way an individual can make long-lasting changes in nutrition lifestyle is if they can maintain a connection to ‘their’ way of eating. I specialise in this – tailoring and tweaking my clients’ nutrition plans to suit both their health goals as well as their taste buds.
Simply speaking, I think one has to ‘eat good’ to ‘feel good’!
