Christine Updegraff is a health coach and nutrition counselor, providing education and action-focused support for women with PCOS. Using webinar technology, telehealth and in-person meetings, she delivers hands-on patient education and resolution planning, backed by scientific rigor. She works meticulously to coordinate care with medical practitioners of all disciplines. Christine’s study of nutrition began after her own PCOS diagnosis and health crisis in the late 1990s. This led to her extensive research over 3 decades into the foundation of PCOS and pathways for its management via diet and lifestyle. She developed her own strategy which became successful in 2008, following 15 years of unsuccessful high-tech infertility treatments. Christine gave birth to her son that year, conceived with no medical intervention. In 2021, Christine went “back to school” and completed her MS in Personalized Nutrition from UConn (go Huskies!). She then pivoted her career from the technology industry to clinical practice, and now focuses on bringing wellness and resolution to women with PCOS at all life stages, whether integrative (in conjunction with mainstream medicine) or solely through dietary and lifestyle strategies. PCOSynergy is a specialized high-intensity coaching program developed to provide both individualized solutions and small group social support to women with PCOS (and their partners) who are committed to taking decisive action to change their lives. Participants learn to regard their PCOS as a “health signal” that will guide them to turn off its cause(s) and effects. PCOSynergy is not for everyone, but Christine is dedicated to helping all PCOS warriors in whatever capacity she is needed.
