I'm a 36 year old fitness enthusiast-turned fitness professional. When I'm not sweating it out in my garage gym, you can usually find me cheering on my wife, Jessie, at her latest road race or walking our pit bull, Bella.
I started my fitness journey with high school and college athletics. In the years since my glory days, I found a new passion for fitness and it's benefits, both mental and physical. As I get older, I find it more and more important and helpful to stay active and take care of my body.
I spent the last 10 years working as a School Counselor in Eastern Iowa. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in School Counseling, along with my Personal Training Certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and Nutrition Specialist Level 1 Certificate from the Nutrition Coaching Institute. This unique combination is what sets me apart from other fitness coaches. I am professionally trained to listen, connect, and help my clients make sustainable changes and reach their weight loss and longevity goals.
