I am dedicated to helping you age better! I have a Master of Science in Health Education and Master of Arts in Psychology. I am a Certified Health Education Specialist by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing, a Master Certified Health Coach by the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, and a Certified Lifestyle Coach by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists. I have also earned several fitness certifications accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies and Yoga Alliance. My healthcare experience as a Community Health Educator includes working with patients and caregivers affected by stroke, cardiovascular and neuromuscular conditions, diabetes and other chronic health conditions. I have also taught in the department of Physical Health Education for over ten years at an area post-secondary institution. Inspired by working in healthcare, I started a Health & Wellness Coaching practice that primarily focuses on middle-aged to older adults and women 35+ years of age that struggle with multiple stressors or complex conditions and/or need to reduce/ manage discomfort, risk(s) of disease & disability and/or need help implementing physician-recommended lifestyle changes.
