My name is Sara, and I started Phoenix Performance to pursue my passion of helping people live their best lives through fitness and nutrition.
My own fitness journey, as a single mom of two highly active kids, led me to seek out a healthier lifestyle.
It began with me just hoping to improve my quality of life and general physical fitness, so that I could be there for all of the adventures and experiences that life brings with my kids.
I didn't want to be limited or have to watch from the sidelines and let life pass me by, because of my own fitness.
I started by trying to do it all myself, and quickly realized I needed direction, support, and accountability in order to make real sustainable progress.
I had bounced from running to boxing and everything in between, tried countless "diets", and I still wasn't seeing the progress I wanted.
It wasn't until I found CrossFit that I truly found my direction.
In the CrossFit community, I not only found a sport I loved, but also found my "calling".
Feeling like an athlete again was incredible, and even more amazing was the fulfillment I got when I became a coach.
It's an amazing feeling being able to help someone achieve their goals.
I've since dedicated myself to continuously learning and enhancing my knowledge so that I can provide personalized fitness and nutrition coaching that will help others succeed, just as I have!
