Hunter's Functional health coaching background.
Hunter has a vast background in natural bodybuilding (which is not always the healthiest thing), leading him to poor health, disease, eating disorders, lost muscle, and digestive issues. He went to traditional doctors for over two years to figure out what was wrong with little to no answers. It wasn't until he discovered Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture, and functional medicine that he could heal and ultimately achieve his best physique for yet another bodybuilding season.
Hunter gained much of his functional knowledge through battling his own struggles, studying specific functional medicine labs, working with clients, studying numerous books, podcasts, articles, research studies, etc., and most recently, studying under a naturopathic doctor to achieve his Integrative Health Practitioner Certification.
The seven branches he incorporates to achieve balance within the body and even to help someone achieve their best physique - Functional Medicine, Orthomolecular Medicine, Bioregulatory Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine & Herbalism, Traditional Naturopathy, Eastern Philosophy.
My passion is helping others achieve their best bodies, internal and external, E.g., how you feel and look. He does this by peeling back the layers of dysfunction and getting to the root cause of each person’s issues (hormones, gut, vitamin, and mineral deficiencies).
