Trey Bennett is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner and clinic director at Integrative Health Providers. He grew up in Kansas eating a Standard American Diet, saw a dietician, and was recommended the ‘Modified’ American Diet with lean meats and dairy. He remained overweight for much of his childhood and suffered from Asthma and Allergies. He tried to eat healthy and exercise but was frustrated with slow progress until discovering evidence-based nutrition while working as an RN at a prominent area hospital. “As a bedside Nurse, I really started to make the connection between the Standard American Diet, and the Standard American Diseases.” This was his motivation to change his lifestyle, and he has never looked back. Since then, he decided to be the change he wanted to see in health care, inspiring him to open his clinic.
In his practice, he is interested in Health Promotion, Disease Prevention, and Healthy Behavior Change through Lifestyle Medicine. He truly practices what he prescribes, living a healthy and active lifestyle along with his wife and daughter. At Integrative Health Providers, we are commited to supporting you in your journey to your ultimate health and wellness goals.
