Can You Tell Us About Your Journey?
My name is Cynthia Gutierrez and as Latina growing up I struggled a lot with dysfunctional eating habits. I would workout on and off for years and I would never really see any results.
Until recently I started being very cautious about everything I was putting into my body, I found myself on google 3 or 4 times a day reading about the nutrients in the foods we eat everyday. Honestly, my little brother challenged me to go vegan and with this change I was online not only several times a day, but I was also watching videos to get ideas on what in the world I could eat.
How Did You Learn About Cronometer?
It was then when I discovered the Cronometer app, from a popular Youtuber, @simnetnutrition, who was explaining all the nutrients and macros of every food down to every ingredient. I have finally learned that the better quality of fuel we give our body the better performance we will see.
What Is Your Favorite Cronometer Feature?
My favorite feature is that it is teaching us exactly what foods are giving us – what nutrients and not – just measuring that we have met our caloric intake limit or not.
More importantly, I want to make sure that my body is getting the nutrients it needs even though it may not follow the guidelines that are provided to get to a certain weight goal.
How Has Cronometer Helped You?
This app has changed my life because it allows me to focus on my desired destiny, not only physically but mentally and emotionally strong. No limits or guidelines, at my own pace.
