How Did You Learn About Cronometer?

I learned about Cronometer when it was a desktop application only! I can’t remember exactly what year, but I know I started using it as early as 2009 since one of my nutrition mentors was using it.

In 2009 and into 2010, I started documenting everything I ate for 365 consecutive days! I also took photos of each meal and documented every insulin injecting and every blood glucose readings. You can see all the data here.

What Is Your Favorite Cronometer Feature?

My favorite Cronometer feature is the ability to change the Last Diary Column. As a person living with type 1 diabetes, this is a fantastic feature because it tally’s up all the total carbohydrate in my meals! I eat ~700 grams of carbohydrate per day, so having software that gives me accurate data is crucial for daily insulin dosing decisions.
