How To Set a Weight Goal

Whether you’re looking to lose, gain, or maintain weight, the weight goal page puts you in control of your progress. To set your weight goal head to More › Targets › Weight Goal. From there you can set your current weight, set your weight goal, and view a detailed target breakdown to see how your Energy Target is calculated.

When you set your weight goal, you’ll be prompted to select your desired rate of change. The best part? Cronometer handles the calculations for you, providing both your rate of change and a forecasted goal date. What to learn more about losing weight? Check out our blog here!

How To Adjust Your Weight Goal

Need to tweak your weight goal? Whether your priorities have shifted or you’ve hit a milestone, adjusting your goal is simple and follows the same steps as setting it.

Head to More › Targets › Weight Goal, where you can update your current weight and set a new target.  Just like when you first set your weight goal, you’ll select your desired rate of change, and Cronometer will take care of the rest—automatically recalculating your daily energy needs and forecasting a new goal date based on your adjustments.

How To Log Weight

Tracking your weight regularly helps you stay on top of your progress—and with Cronometer, logging it is quick and easy! Here’s how:

  • Add a Biometric: Tap the plus button > select add biometric > search for weight and enter your details.
  • Weight Goal Widget: This dashboard tool gives you a quick glance of your weight goal and includes a quick-add button for easily logging your weight.
  • Log Weight Reminders: Need a nudge? Enable reminders to stay consistent!
    • How to Enable Log Weight Reminders: Go to More > Account > Notifications > Log Weight Reminder and toggle it on. Cronometer will send gentle prompts to help you keep your data up to date.

If you want to adjust your original weight on Cronometer, tap today at the top of your Diary > navigate to the day you made your account > then change the weight value on that day. Learn more here.
